5. The Mephisto Waltz is a fairly quick read, but it was full of details, right to the very end. Mr. Stewart’s writing is through, yet easy to read. Although the movie was unnerving it doesn’t capture the story in its entirety. I don’t want to give away the plot, but what I will say is read this book! /5.
